Random Rant
The greatest choice of my life has led to the most costly times of my life. This peace I have only comes from knowing true pain and strife. And yet I wake up each morning feeling ready to take flight. Soaring with the birds touching down only to bring more up with me. This extravagant gift was free yet cost the greatest price. Revelation and a choice, presented by the death of the one pure thing we've ever known. His trials, blood, tears, sweat, love all pouring out as He breathed His last. Even He was bold enough to speak, as He died, to save another. With every breathe He changed the world. Loving the unloveable, teaching the unteachable, listening to the mockers, fighting the spiritual leaders, challenging everything that had been taught. His guts were hated even as they hit the ground. Never since have we seen a boldness for this Proclamation. Are we all stuck in our own retardation to not be as bold? No. We are stuck in our selfish, prideful, lazy selves that only care about something if it affects us. Not speaking and proclaiming the greatest Proclamation puts their blood on our hands. Oh how I wish to wash my hands clean. Standing by as people are sent to eternal suffering is just as bad as the person who sent them there. SPEAK UP, RASIE A VOICE, PROCLAIM THE STORY THAT CHANES LIVES FOREVER! PRIDE AND LAZINESS ARE FEEBLE EXCUSES FOR HAVING THE BLOOD OF THOSE WE WERE SILENT WITH ON OUR HANDS. GOD GIVE US BOLDNESS TO SAY THAT YOU LOVED US TO THE POINT THAT YOU HAD YOUR SON KILLED TO WASH OUR HANDS. THEN HAD HIM RISE THREE DAYS LATER TO EMPOWER US TO SPEAK AND LOVE AS HE LOVED. LET US PROCLAIM THIS LIKE IT WAS THE LAS TIME WE HAD TO BE ABLE TO. Who knows when our last chance to proclaim is? Better yet, who knows when the recipeints' last chance to hear will be?

Wait to Go
James 5:7-12
James starts this section off with another therefore, so lets recap. James just explained how the rich oppress the poor and yet they are expected to remain faithful. Ok now, "Therefore be patient brethren until the coming of the Lord." James is telling the churches that while times are hard and they are treated un justly, Justice is coming. With this he also gives them instruction to strengthen their hearts because we know not the time He is returning.
Job is used as an illustration to show how God is always faithful and merciful even in the hardest of times. Having his family die and being stripped of all his wealth the only thing Job had was God. Even with the advice of his friends to curse God, Job remained faithful and God blessed him through his trials.
James gives them all this encouragement then in his typical fashion leaves with a warning. His warning is that for the people to let their "yes" be "yes" and "no" be "no". We know that justice will be coming to the people who have wronged us. By the same token we can no put ourselves in the same boat as the wrong doers by making empty promises. Yes take peace in the fact that the Lord is coming again. We have been warned though, that we need to prepare our hearts and begin to back our words with our life.
